Please I’m appreciate you can Fw this email to Judge Mr James P. Cloninger and the officer probation Ms. Renee Bagan and Michele Stineberger (I’m sorry I don’t have their e-mail addresses).

 

 

 

 

I would like to explain you why I will not be in the court room on  March the 3rd , although I have bin fallowing  Carlo ether since his arrest in July 2004.

 

I am Katia Anedda, the partner of Carlo Parlanti – the man You are keeping imprisoned in hideous conditions againt any law of common sense and justice.

 

Please take a glance at the attached pictures. You know them very well. In one of them Rebecca White shows her own age as 44 (or even older) – it's the picture taken by the police showing no sign of violence whatsoever. The other one, showing blues on her face, was handed by her to the police on 24th August 2005. She declared she had taken them on 3rd July 2002 – fifteen days before the former one: how can You believe that a human being can grow older so quickly? How can You believe she had a ponytail as the reason of her hair looking shorter? The haircut is different. The color cannot be turned from that red to that brown if it is not discolored first and without waiting some days, otherwise the hair would fall. Any hairdresser can confirm that. How can You believe that such blues might disappear in fifteen days? You have the original pictures, they are not so blurred, You can see the differences better than me. Not to mention that that picture was allegedly self-taken: try to take a picture of Yourself with a throw-away camera and focus Your face that way...

 

I still wonder if You let Yourself be fooled or if You knew You were admitting faked evidences in a trial – a trial whose purpose is to make justice. Long ago Mr Romero wrote me "I want Carlo in order to judge him and, if he's innocent, to prove he is". Nothing true about it. For three years he has allowed Rebecca White and her friends to fabricate new charges and complaints against an innocent man. Why did he call me to testify? Gentlemen, I don't need to hide anything. I don't need to defend a maniac. I'm not so stupid to think of spending my life at a lunatic and violent man's side. Carlo has his shortcomings like most men, but he's not a monster. And he doesn't need to be violent in any mean against women.

 

As a consequence of all, You should know – if You don't know it already – that not only Carlo, but also I and his family are victims of this legal crime. A crime You can clearly see and don't do anything to stop it. Without any proper investigation, You kidnapped (that's the right word) a human being based on allegations of facts that can never occur. If any of You forgot or does not know about Ms White's statements, please refresh Your memory at www.thepeoplevscarloparlanti.com (under 'trial files' section).

 

We are victims because we spent all our money to trust Your justice. I've been forced to make debts and now I don't even have enough to live. I'm so full of debts I can't afford to pay, that I won't be able to be in Your court on 3rd March. To be there to give at least a glance of support to the man You are killing.  To see him chained like the worst criminal on earth. Please read the transcripts again, find out whose the real crime is. I won't be in that court but I'm sure I'll be in Your consciences if You have one. To clear Your conscience it would be enough to order a proper investigation – You have this duty, we have this right. Democracy, justice and common sense should be among Your strong points, should be the basis of Your culture. But I don't see them here. I can't believe that You are denying Your civil faith, I want to believe that You just didn't pay attention to the facts and You honestly believed that a citizen of Yours acted in good faith. But please read those transcripts again. You will see what I see now – a woman who's exploiting the State to act her personal revenge. And to real victims' detriment.

 

I beg You again. Please investigate and give us back our faith in a democratic and just Country like Yours.
