I nostri ringraziamenti

Tempo fa avevo creato una pagina di ringraziamenti in cui avevo incluso le persone che in un modo o nell'altro si erano occupate della vicenda di Carlo, quella pagina non è aggiornata, non per ingratitudine verso chi negli utlimi mesi ha fatto qualcosa per Carlo, ma dovete perdonarmi è colpa della mia stanchezza, sono tante le cose da fare, da aggiornare e non riesco a farle tutte, ma voglio ancora ringraziare tutti voi, i vecchi e i nuovi, ma sopratutto chi in questi giorni in particolar modo ha contribuito ad alzare il livello di attenzione in questo caso e sopratutto L'onorevole Marco Zacchera e il sindaco Ettore Severi un grazie di cuore da parte mia, di Carlo e della sua famiglia insieme a loro vorremo ringraziare tutti voi che avete firmato la petizione chi ci ha scritto, chi scrive continuamente a Carlo e gli ricorda che è vivo ed è nel giusto, chi ci aiuta anche con piccole forme di incoraggiamento.

Come sapete l'onorevole Marco Zacchera oggi visiterà Carlo, stiamo aspettando con eccitazione questo momento con la speranza che qualcosa si muova sul serio per tutelare Carlo. Grazie ad Ettore Severi che sta dando il suo contributo cercando di sensibilizzare gli enti preposti, tutto questo ci da la forza di continuare a sperare che la parola GIUSTIZIA abbia un significato

ARRESTATO MENTRE VIAGGIA IN EUROPA ED ESTRADATO
NEGLI USA UN CALVARIO CHE DURA DA 4 ANNI

Carlo Parlanti detenuto dal giugno 2005 nel penitenziario
californiano di Avenal (USA) il 29 Luglio potrà
finalmente incontrare l'On.le Marco Zacchera.

La visita del responsabile Esteri di Alleanza Nazionale
on.le Marco Zacchera, che sarà accompagnato dal console
generale d'Italia a San Francisco Roberto Falaschi e dal
vice-console onorario a Fresno, città nella cui
giurisdizione rientra Avenal , è attesa con grande
emozione e speranza da parte dei familiari, degli amici e
degli oltre 2000 sottoscrittori della petizione in favore
di Parlanti, ma soprattutto da Katia Anedda la compagna di
sempre che dal 2002 lotta ogni istante affinché sia fatta
chiarezza su questa "terribile vicenda giudiziaria
internazionale".

Dal 3 giugno 2005 Carlo Parlanti si trova infatti rinchiuso
nel carcere di Avenal, in California dove è stato
condannato a 9 anni di detenzione, per reati per i quali si
è sempre proclamato innocente al punto da rifiutare il
patteggiamento della pena.

"Il Caso Parlanti" afferma l'on.le Marco Zacchera "merita
grande attenzione perché pone un problema di giustizia
internazionale nei riguardi degli Italiani all'estero, ma
soprattutto perché l'intera vicenda lascia grandi
interrogativi sulle procedure. Mi chiedo se sia possibile
che un nostro connazionale possa, come nel caso di Parlanti
, rientrare in Italia nell'agosto del 2002 senza sapere di
essere ricercato negli USA ed essere catturato - dopo due
anni dal suo rientro - nel luglio 2004 a Düsseldorf ad un
passaggio doganale in uno stato membro della UE come la
Germania e di qui istradato negli USA a causa di un
mandato di cattura internazionale emesso due anni prima e
mai notificatogli in precedenza."

"Spero quindi" prosegue il responsabile esteri di AN- "che
la stampa ed i media in generale contribuiscano a
sensibilizzare l'opinione pubblica su questo incredibile
caso giudiziario e umano per il quale, il 26 aprile scorso
, 17 europarlamentari appartenenti a tutti i gruppi politici
(primo firmatario Umberto Guidoni della Sinistra Unitaria
Europea) hanno rivolto l'appello al Presidente Napolitano,
al premier Prodi, ai ministri D'Alema e Mastella nonché
al
vicepresidente della Commissione Europea Frattini
"affinché
sia esaminata ogni via praticabile per far luce sulle
innumerevoli ombre che circondano questo caso e anche per
fornire tutta l'assistenza giudiziaria, finanziaria e
umanitaria possibile affinché Carlo Parlanti possa far
valere i propri diritti tenuto conto che un ricorso in
appello costa più di 100.000 dollari"

"Grazie all'impegno del Console generale a San Francisco
Roberto Falaschi, conclude l'on.le Marco Zacchera, domenica
29 Luglio simbolicamente saranno al mio fianco in visita al
penitenziario i colleghi del parlamento europeo e le
migliaia di persone che giornalmente lanciano silenziosi

nu stanno arrivando poesie e arte per il blog di avenal,anche se non ci sono grossi riscontri, io vi pregherei di aiutare Carlo e scrivere a questi ragazzi, lo terrebbe impegnato e mandare loro le stampe per il momento sono 4 o cinque, se ve ne "adottate" uno di loro mi dareste una grossa mano, vi darei l'accesso al blog e inserireste voi la loro arte

Aggiornamenti

Salute: Accertata gia piu di un mese fa l'epatite C si sarebbe dovuto accertare che sottotipo, da più di un mese sono stati fatti i prelievi ma nessuna cura ne nessun incontro con il medico per stabilire una cura o sapere da che sottotipo di epatite c è affetto Carlo. In "compenso" dopo due settimane gli è arrivato un fogliettino rosa in cui era scritto che i valori erano nella norma o come l'ultima analisi e quindi non c'era bisogno di incontrare il medico, quindi sta a dire o che non è affetto da epatite, oppure che è affetto ma che non è dato sapere il sottotipo.......(questo a logica), dopo una settimana a seguito di insistenze per poter sapere lo stato della salute di Carlo è arrivato un secondo fogliettino rosa (appena avrò il tempo di scansionarli, li caricherò sul sito) in cui era scritto che avrebbe avuto un appuntamento con il medico (non si sa quando), a seguito di lamentele per questa "omertà" gli è arrivato un terzo fogliettino, sta volta giallo in cui era ancora scritto che avrebbe visto il medico.
Oggi Carlo ha incontrato il medico, ma solo per il problema dell'asma, gli è stato dato un dosaggio piu forte delle medicine che gli erano state prescritte, ma nessun accenno all'Epatite c.

Stato foto. Con l'aiuto di un carissimo amico abbiamo cercato di ricostruire il bagno in cui la presunta vittima avrebbe scattato le foto a se stessa. L'immagine tridimensionale del bagno è in un formato non compatibile con internet, vi pregherei di aiutarmi a perfezionarlo, magari inserendo una sagoma tipo White seduta sul wc e renderlo agevole in internet, potrebbe diventare un bel giochino, scopriamo come ha fatto, secondo lei a scattare quelle foto, tutte le info su:

Carlo Parlanti: an alleged guilty story

We never talk enough about some stories; especially about this one, that is not easy to follow, that is a complex story, although crystal-clear in its horror, with lots of dates and names to remember, nobody talks about any more. There has been some talking in the past, but not enough for sure, at least not enough to reach a mass so critical to move something. Carlo Parlanti (see picture) is locked up in the prison of Avenal, California since June 3rd 2005: he has been accused of crimes that he has never committed, accused by a deranged witness, during a farce trial. Possible? In the United States? In the “land of freedom” like someone considers it, maybe someone directing a small opinion news paper? Yes, it is possible!
Carlo Parlanti is born in Montecatini in 1964, grows up in a family like many others, attends the scientific lyceum, then college, physics. At twenty five he is in Milano, looking for a job: he is smart, knows how to study, and he ends up sending a resumè to one of the largest fortune 100 in the food industry, one that now a day has a lot of opposition. In a period when no-global is an unknown word Carlo Parlanti needs to make a living : he starts working for Nestlè, as a systems analyst and afterward as a project manager, like we would say today.

He climbs quickly, travels often around europe, he enjoys that life style, always around, never a dull moment. At a certain point he decides to change, abruptly: he is a man perfectly capable to leave the morning after for the Americas. And is what he does, in 1996: at this time he is no longer employed ad Nestlè, but for Dole: his career is going strong. But, beside work, he has another passion in his life, women. Many women, that he dates for few week or months, for a couple of years or few days. Many women anyhow: also from that point of view things are going great, even better, it looks like one of those TV life’s, neat, clean, designed to make people envious. Or so it seems.
The year is 2001: Carlo Parlanti meets a woman, Rebecca McKay White. She is born in 1959, a few years older and showing them all, she works in a jewelry store where Carlo Parlanti goes to get his watch fixed. The two befriended one another a few on another a few months before September 11th ; in November Rebecca McKay White looses her job, she is in a difficult period , California is in a big crisis, there is recession and everybody is scared. Above all there is a catastrophe in the other side of America that has just hit the entire planet. The two move from Monterey to Westlake village, near Malibu. They live in the same apartment, Carlo’s apartment : months go by and it’s a new year, 2002.
The summer of 2002 is a key moment: Carlo Parlanti thinking about going back to Italy, to cash in his American experience, to spend the know-how acquired in the big international company. On top of everything, he is fed up with Rebecca McKay White, he cannot take her anymore and wants to leave her: he is no stranger to starting anew, and this he did without wavering. On July 16th 2002 the story with Rebecca McKay White is finished: why such an exact date? Because to witness in there are varius emails sent to friend, on top of trial’s declarartions. Carlo Parlanti “shows the door” to Rebecca McKay White, and at that point he has practically written the last chapter of his adventure across the ocean.
Two days after, on July 18th 2002, The woman that he had just left, reports him to the police: she tell about one night in which Carlo Parlanti imprisoned her, beat her up, sodomized her forcing her to practice “fist fucking”, and finally, after bounding her with plastic ties, raped her multiple times. These are very serius allegations, accusation that deserve in depth in vestigations, analysis, witnesses; in one word, “evidences”. In august Carlo Parlanti returns to Italy: he will be free without knowledge of this story until the onth of july 2004, when he is approached a the Dusseldorf airport, where he eill discover that there is an international warrant with his name on it.

Two years in the dark

What happens Between the summer of 2002 and the summer of 2004? Two years of black out, two years during which Carlo Parlanti goes back to work in Italy and Europe, doing what he was doing before. And Rebecca Mckay White? In the United States, waiting for Carlo Parlanti to come back to the States but as a prisoner, with the complicity of hardened Californian laws against sex crimes. Waiting to be able to enjoy for the rest of his days a revenge for having duped her, revenge that eill also procure her a “pension” for life because victim of a sex crime.
It’s really sad that nothing like that has happened, and that the violence remains alleged and without proof after being incarcerated for al most one year in Germany, from the summer of 2004 to the spring of 2005, without evidences, froof, facts to justify his arrest, he gets extradited. This happens even though his attorney in Germany, Franzisca Lieb, is trying to present appeal upon appeal for the abvious illegitimacy of the extraduction, and the same thing is done by Cesare Bulgheroni (Carlo Parlanti’s attorney in Italy) that attempts an appeal to the European court for Human Right, also for violation of international treaties on extradition without success!
On June 3rd 2005 the manager that always travels oround the world, always full of women, a person that doesn’t even know how he ended up in that cell in Dusseldorf gets loaded in chains on an airplane, destined to California.

The Trial

After being transferred from Dusseldorf to Ventura, in California, Carlo Parlanti faces the beginning of his penal persecution. The trial is going to produce an unimaginable series of evidences created out of nothing, at time appearing directly upon request from the district attorney as in the case of the pictures, of testimonies confused and recanted, of accusations without foundations that cannot possibly be proved. In detail; the district attorney talks about Carlo Parlanti, the project manager that travels around the world, always in motion, one full of women, as a common criminal.
They tak about a criminal record for armed Robbery, and assorted violence, all crimes commited in Italy; It is really unfortunate that the Italian Criminal record of Parlanti is clean, “ like a lake without mud”, they would say in a movie as chillingat least as much as this story. And this is only for starters: one of the most incredible declarations made by Rebecca McKay is in regards to the alcohol that Carlo Parlanti would have drank, before abusing her in the night of June 29th. Four liters of Chardonnay (about one gallon) in about five hours; a quantity that would have killed him, since it would cause a Bac- blood alcohol content – of about 0.63 and the ethylic coma happens already at 0.40.
If it was the only absurd declaration : Rebecca McKay moving it from July 6th to June 29th 2002 – evidently to earn a few days – in order to justify the lack of visible bruises, amd the fact that she could not undergo med-legal test, the gynecological exam that is done normally on victims of sexual violence. In fact, regarding the night of the “fist fucking”, Rebecca Mckay white tells about a very strong hemorrhage caused by the fore harm that Carlo Parlanti would have first stuck in her vagina with his fist closed, and afterward, with the palm of his hand open, inside her rectum. An hemorrhage that, according still to Rebecca McKay White, had left abundant traces on the bed, “pools” of blood that filtered through the sheets and impregnated the mattress itself. Needless to say, at the time of the report, the police went to the house and did not find anything. They found everything in order, they found a bed properly made, they found Carlo Parlanti’s TV life. The dry wall against which Rebecca McKay White declares that her face has been struck tens of times, is completely intact, every thing is completely in order. Nobody has seen maintenance personnel or anybody that could have made repairs. Carlo Parlanti in the meanwhile is some where else, still in the United States, in Gulfporth, in Missisipi. Unaware of anything.
The woman has already in the past manifested signs of mental instability, during a divorce from her first husband, and now during the trial she even admits candidly that she has problems with her short term memory, which comes in very useful since she has to justify in front of an attorney, in front of a judge, in front of a jury, how is it that she wanted to recant the date of the most traumatic day you remember? From the 6th of July to June 29th of 2002. It is difficult to confuse especially if you reported the facts on July the 18th in such a brief lapse of time one week from the other; one week like hundreds of others, confused with the one in which you underwent horrible violence.

The pictures

One of the most shocking evidences, presented by Rebecca McKay white, and incredibly considered valid, are two pictures showing her with a large bruise on her left eye. It is a picture that appears years after the report, exactly after three years, practically upon request by the district attorney: and it is fake. It is a fake that resulted in a decision that condemned Carlo Parlanti. Why is it a fake? You just have to look at the two image, not even with too much accuracy, the ones presented after three years, those with a left eye dark from a bluish bruise, and another image, taken from the Ventura Police on the day of the report, July 18th 2002. The same person, but with some years of difference, a different hair style, smoother skin. And not only: during the trial Rebecca McKay White declares that she has taken those pictures on her own in the restroom of Carlo Parlanti’s house, sitting on the toilet. Unfortunately the memory plays her a trick - she even declared, after all, that she had short term memory problems: Carlo Parlanti’s restroom is painted in yellow. The pictures presented by Rebecca McKay White, taken with a small throw-away camera, have a whiter than white background and reflection of blue. Although it is evident that it is the same person yes, but in paces and years completely different from those where the alleged violence was staged (and these are not small details for crime evidences), incredibly a verdict of guilt gets issued against Carlo Parlanti.


The Verdict



Carlo Parlanti gets sentenced to nine years of prison. He has to spend them in the prison of Avenal (see pictures), Where things get immediately worse: he is involved in a fight and, we do not know how he contracted hepatitis C. He suffers from piorrea and is loosing his teeth. He is not responding well, like an innocent reacts to prison time eithout motive. A web site has been active for some time, http://www.carloparlanti.com , to talk about this absurd story and a petition has been arranged to clarify a complicated story, as we said from the very beginning, difficult to follow, with may dates and names to remember; and that every body is forgetting about too quickly.

un terribile silenzio, molti stanno dimenticando che Carlo è malato e le cure gli vengono negate, anzi, piu le si chiedono piu viene minacciato

Grazie a Gabriele Ferraresi e Cronaca Vera questa settimana è stato pubblicata la seconda puntata della vicenda di Carlo sul giornale, appunto cronaca vera. Acquistatelo e lasciatelo nei bar, studi medici, sale d'attesa con dentro dei volantini come quelli che trovate sulla home la gente potrebbe cominciare a conoscere la vicenda di Carlo che molti non conoscono e dimostrare la propria indignazione alle autorità competenti. Gli enti continuano a non dare risposte e date, nonostante piu di 1000 persone nonostante il solo passaparola chiedono chiarezza!!!!
I media a parte rari casi che ringrazio non se ne occupano, è piu importante sapere che la velina di quest'anno si porta a letto un giocatore del milan che un italiano che viene torturato sotto la giustificazione Legge!!!
Ma quale legge?

I diritti. Nessuno va a trovare Carlo in prigione a parte ogni due mesi il consolato, Valerie quando puo, non abbiamo nessuno negli USA che può aiutarci in questo, stargli vicino e non ci sono delle associazioni o dei volontari che vadano a trovare i detenuti e tener contatti con i parenti. Questo cosa vuol dire? Che oltre alle spese legali, investigative (che in questo caso sarebbero dovute essere un dovere dello stato Californiano) ci sono i costi delle comunicazioni, i costi per poter prendere un aereo e almeno una volta ogni tanto cercare di stargli vicino, come pensate che sia giusto questo? Possibile che in tutto il mondo solo 1340 persone pensano che i diritti dell'uomo sono valori fondamentali?

Bene, la White è una vittima? Allora dovrebbe essere la prima a firmare la petizione, forse non lo ha capito, non lo sa, e io mi sono curata di farglielo sapere su richiesta di Carlo Parlanti tramite il DA di Ventura con la seguente email:

In this petition I ask for further investigations in order to clarify the case. Since 99% of the people that were present at the trial or being informed about this case are not convinced that you are the victim, further investigations would be also in your interest if it is true that you are indeed the victim. If it is true what you say prove it definitely, beyond all reasonable doubt. Why you have witnessed in front of the bible and the American Flag that you even spoke with me on the phone… it is not clear in which language since at the time I couldn’t even say “how are you?”. Given the incongruities in the testimonies and documents presented everything is unclear to me. Therefore if I am mad and Carlo is a criminal, please sign the petition and to strike also you to you in order to ask real investigations.

In questa petizione ho chiesto ulteriori investigazioni per rendere chiaro il caso. Poiche’ il 99% della gente che ha assistito al processo o che e’ informata su questo caso non è convinta che tu sia la vittima; ulteriori investigazioni sarebbero anche nel tuo interesse se e’ vero che tu sei realmente la vittima. Se è vero quello che dici, provalo definitivamente, al di la di ogni ragionevole dubbio. Perché hai testimoniato davanti alla bibbia e la bandiera americana che hai anche parlato con me al telefono... ma in che lingua se io allora non sapevo nemmeno dire how are you? Date le incongruenze nelle testimonianze e nei documenti presentati niente mi e’ chiaro. Allora se pensi che io sono pazza e Carlo è un criminale ti prego di firmare la petizione e di batterti anche te per chiedere delle vere investigazioni.

le novita?

Quelle che vi posso dare io sono le seguenti:
Da due anni chiediamo investigazioni sulle foto, ancora non sono iniziate, le investigazioni dovrebbero essere un dovere degli enti preposti, ma siamo costrette a pagarle, da una settimana abbiamo fatto un money gram costato a suon di soldi all'avvocato, ma ancora non è andato a ritirarlo. Quindi niente investigazioni.
Da due mesi ho chiesto agli enti competenti i dettagli per poter chiedere indicazioni e un supporto per le spese legali, ma non ho risposte. Da due anni, chiedo agli stessi enti e associazioni italoamericane un aiuto con i contatti con Carlo, qualcuno che possa visitarlo di tanto in tanto e dirmi in modo serio e convincente che non sta subendo persecuzioni, ma nessuna risposta. Gente che parla a caso, senza sapere nemeno di quello di cui parla. Che mi attacca esaltando il garantismo della legge americana....ma io l'unica cosa che ho sempre affermato è che Carlo Parlanti non è stato garantito da nulla, e nessuno però mi sa dimostrare il contrario. Quello che chiedo è che proprio la legge americana venga rispettata, ma non c'è peggior sordo di chi non vuol sentire. Le novità....un cambiamento del console di Los Angeles, che ancora non so chi sia e se è a conoscenza del caso di Carlo, uno dei casi piu clamorosi di quelli conosciuti, perchè tutti i crimini sono nei confronti di Carlo Parlanti dai FATTI, ma Carlo Parlanti è in una prigione, rischia la vita e gli altri sono tutti liberi di continuare a fare del male
